The Canine Co-Op Group Classes are a collaboration between Grimm & Co. Dog Training, Training with Albert and Lily Ray Dog Training, bringing together expertise to offer a well-rounded approach to dog training. Through group events, structured guidance, and a supportive community, we help dogs and their owners build confidence, skills, and lasting partnerships.
Our classes are designed to be fun, dynamic, and practical - helping both dogs and their owners gain confidence in real-world situations. Whether you're looking to reinforce obedience, improve leash manners, or tackle advanced skills, we offer a variety of classes to fit your needs.
GROUP CLASSES
Building engagement group class
Our group classes help you and your dog practice essential obedience skills - like sit, stay, place, and loose leash walking - while building engagement in real-world environments. Each session offers hands-on, practical training to strengthen communication, focus, and confidence around other dogs and distractions. It’s a great way to reinforce obedience, maintain consistency, and keep your training sharp with the support of a professional trainer and a welcoming community.

Dog-Free Handler SkilLs Class
Improve your dog’s leash skills, treat giving, and communication without the distraction of a wiggly pup? Join our free, dog-free training class designed just for you! Spend the session learning practical leash handling, timing your markers, and delivering rewards effectively. Through hands-on exercises and expert coaching, you will master essential training techniques and coordinated movements in a supportive, people-only environment. Return home ready to teach your dog with confidence.

Foundations
Our four-session Foundations class teaches essential skills to help your dog navigate the world with confidence. Whether you're walking through busy neighborhoods, visiting the vet or groomer, or meeting new people, this course builds a strong training base. We’ll cover engagement, introductiont to markers, Spot, Crate, and Place. Suitable for dogs of all ages and experience levels.

Multi-Level Obedience
Our Multi-Level Dog Obedience Group Class is structured to accommodate dogs and handlers with varying skill levels. From the Beginning Level, which focuses on advancing engagement and building a solid foundation, to the Advanced Level, where dogs master obedience and appropriate social behavior, our program is designed to foster growth and improvement.

Adventure Dog
Join us for a fun Adventure Dog outing in the Bay Area where you and your dog can practice and strengthen your skills alongside a supportive community. These real-world experiences are designed to build confidence, improve communication, and help your training translate beyond the classroom.
Whether we’re exploring a new location on a structured pack walk, hitting the trails to work on leash and recall skills, or practicing calm, neutral behavior at a local café, each outing is an opportunity to grow as a team while having fun.
